Well, this time it sucked. Oh, not FNM sucked it was the fact that nobody told me that the show did not take place in Wurzburg (as it supposed to be, like... the tickets say wurzburg)

I must have had a vision or something, because I was two hours before the show started in Wurzburg at the Carl-Diem-Halle (nice city, by the way) and I almost had a heart attack when I saw this little sign where I read that the show is in Nuremberg (100 km (70 miles?)in the east of Wurzburg, I live near Munich, so I drove 270 km (190 miles) to Wurzburg and then almost half way back to Nuremberg. grrrrlll. very funny.) If I was not that early in Wurzburg, I would have never been able so see the show in Nuremberg.

Anyway I arrived in Nuremberg at 8:30 pm and I have no idea which band played before FNM, because fnm started immediately after I was there. (But I guess it was Shihad again, because on an recent Kerrang! article there's a picture from Shihad while they've been controlled by the german police near Nuremberg!) It was an open air show in a really lovely "backyard" called the Serenadenhof (an old "Hitler" building). It was a sqared place surrounded by really high walls. there were some trees in the middle of the place (right were the pit was!!!) The gap between stage and audience was like a garden. there were some flowers and some bushes left and right from the stage.

Boy! there were A LOT cameras at this show about 10 photographs and two video cameras, but they left after the second or third song. Caffeine had the longest middle part I ever heard. Like 2 minutes just drums and bass and Dean playing with the guitar. The crowd started to whistle and to act nervous. Mike and Roddy just smiled... before he released them with the "say something, anything" line. brilliant! After get out, Mike jumped into the "garden" between stage and audience, slipped to the ground and said "What a lovely garden", then he crawled up again and placed himself in the middle of it. Dean and Billy tried then to start this synthesizer thing for Caralho Voador... they failed. Mike watched them.. "any problems, Dean?" then Billy pushed some switches... "can we start the song?"
"Ok I'll do it", threw the micro into the dirt and walked like a drunk man to the machine and turned it on. When he supposed to start singing, he realized that he couldn't find his microphone, he digged like a dog for it and when he finally had it he started to walk left and right in front of the audience. Have you ever seen a man on top of a 12 feet bush??? He walked behind the right bush from the stage and started climbing on it. We couldn't see him, we saw just the bush moving heavily from left to right. When he was on top, he immediately jumped down and walked back to the stage. All this during "Caralho Voador"! (he was like a dirtball, leaves in the hair, mudd and dirt all over the arms and his trousers.) In "We Care A Lot" Mike changed the lyrics in the beginning into "la la-la-la-la-la-laaa". "I Wann F**k Myself" was a little surprise, the song was cool, but I concentrated more on "special events". Before TLTK mike talked to "us" while Puffy started the song, then after ten seconds Mike interrupted the others and forced them to stop playing. "we have a BAAAD boy on stage" "Puffy is a bad boy!" "Say it... baaad boy" the funny thing was, that no one except Mike knew what's going on. Puffy looked surprised and helpless to Billy, who couldn't help him, because Billy doesn't know what Puffy made wrong. Then Puffy and Billy nod and decided that this was a game Mike was playing and smiled. "Now, Puffy - play this one like a reeeeeaaaaaal musician" a short break, before the song started again.

After this one the show was over and everyone was happy, icluding myself. If I had a wish, I would sent this asshole to hell who hit me every 20 seconds in the back. (not mentioning this nice stagediver who had lovely Doc Martens, which I touched with my head).
