Well after the FNM show in Israel in 20.8.97 in Tel Aviv I started thinking about the last time they were here in the "King For A Day" tour in the summer of 95 and I realised I didnt remember anything about the show in 1.7.95(one of the two shows they had here in 95,the other in the Haifa "Blues,Rock And soul Festival)In the same place (Cinerama) in the same city (Tel Aviv),I just rememberd the set list and some nice looking ladies who sat beside me... But I really tried and now I remember some very certain stuff... Well I wont bore you with the warm up band and such stuff: They kicked of the show with "Ricochet" which wasnt a very good opener and then with "B Aggressive",both maybe a crowd favorites but not a "Jump Up And Down" type of songs, but since I knew the set list since I heard the radio broadcast from the Haifa show I knew that "Midlife Crisis" came u so I wasnt worried...
Thats one thing I remember, now after that came some crowd favorites and then "Easy" which is of course the most loved FNM song here(god knows why...),but this time I also loved Easy...Roddy started playing it for like 4 times and every time Mike stopped him and started saying stuf like:"Did I tell you you could start you mother fucking piece of shit...etc...",and then the crowd also started shouting such stuff at Roddy, and then finnaly Mike said that it was Roddys birthday so the crowd sang "Happy Birthday Roddy" and they gave him a cake and everybody was happy and amused...Before Ill tell you what happened to Roddy during "Digging The Grave" I probably should tell you how the "Cinerama Hall" looks like; Its a building used for rock and TV shows(the most popular TV show is filmed there, and "Rage Against The Machine" and "Prodigy" performed there. It has about 2000 seats and a pitt that could contain about a thousand people,if the hole place is jam packed its about 3700 people and it was jam packed...
So in "DTG" Roddy played the guitar and some how he fallen in to the
SO after he came back on stage he was missing his shoes and a jacket...
So the crowd threw at him 1 shoe and the jacket, but 1 shoe was mssing,so he
offered 50$ to who ever brought it back, after about half of the song after
"DTG"("Just A Man") the shoe was thrown back at Roddy and hit him right in
The encores were great!!!!!!
5 Songs which 2 of them te crowd asked for during the shows, they did "Portisheads" "Glory Box" which was amasing then they did "Bee Gees" "I Started A Joke" and then "WCAL" and then came the best part of the enocres:"War Pigs" and "From Out Of Nowhere" which was crowd requests and they worked great!!!!!!!
