At 8,15 PM FNM supporter RADISH started to play ... People didn't like their sound very much, and started to invite them to go away with the same old stadium choirs ... At 8,45 they went away, with the guitarist saying "fuck you" instead of "thank you" and spitting to guys in the first rows. (Monday night on Superock, after Stripsearch, there was a Radish video, I didn't hear what the rock-chick said, but they seem to have some links with Faith No More).

After RADISH there was a 30 mins break, someone backstage had the wonderful idea to play the same song over and over, making people go crazy ... At 9,30 PM Faith No More came out and the REAL show started ... First song was Midnight Cowboy, with Mike Patton at ocarina. Unfortunately the sound wasn't perfect because of the place ... But anyway, the show was wonderful. Mike Patton started to talk to the crowd in italian between the songs, using "siciliano" slang you can find in movies about mafia ... Mike Patton saw a person in the crowd very similar to italian singer Luciano Ligabue. He asked "Hey you! Are you Ligabue the singer? That asshole!!! Come here and sing for us? Oh, you don't want to ... Cheese-head!". At the end of Epic someone expected him to jump to an other song, and it was so ... In the past he jumped to various songs, Barbie Girl, Pump Up The Jam ... This time Mike Patton finished Epic with "Everybody ... Rock your body ...". He asked "Hey guys! Who is going to win tomorrow? Milan or Inter?? Would you like to bet some on it?". Billy Gould jumped and moved like a mad, walking in circle while playing, Roddy was simply weird! He was jumping like a mad but always with one hand on the keyboards, (he was fun to watch!), other times he looked like a statue ... And even Jon Hudson was part of the show, he was making faces to the crowd while playing ... I think Jon Hudson looks like Jim Curier (tennis player) but last friday he terribly looked like Stan Laurel. During the show a girl in the first rows was crying and calling Mike Patton, at the end of the song he asked her "Why do you like me? Oh, really? Because I'm a skilled singer! Thank you, I thought another reason ...". At the end of the show Mike Patton asked a cigarette ... Someone threw one and Mike asked a lighter. He had many lighters, started to smoke his cigarette, saying "Oh guys, life is beautiful!! Last evening I was watching on TV, on Rete 4, an old movie with Vittorio Gassman ... At the end he was screaming "Grazie al cazzo! (Thanks to the dick!)"". It was a very beautiful show, even the sound could be better.

For the things I'm not sure and for the cover title, there are two or three guys on this list I saw at the concert (Flocca, Glenda e Markino?) ...

Matteo.

Mr. Patton has, obviously,an unsound mind. How could we otherwise explain our hero's last exploit? He seemed to have other thoughts in his head:about the match between Inter and Milan, about how to say 'thank you' in Albanian, about his digestion (he asked us a glass of liqueur and a cigarette,he smoked it and told us to wait until he had 'cacarella',that's the Italian for liquid and fucking fetid shit!),about the italian singer Ligabue who was seen by Mike in the crowd (actually these are bullshits, but I enjoyed very much when Mike said Ligabue is a sucker and has a 'formaggella' face). In short,Mike could fuck your mother while putting sugar in your car's tank and lots of other stuff...I guess he had such inspiration. He sang,of course, but always keeping his peculiar insane manner that makes every FNM gig so fucking amazing. Our 'Reservoir dogs' got on the stage and waited for our silence, then started 'Midnight cowboy' with the whole audience singing(what the fuck were they singing? There are no words in this song!);after that,I had one hour of pogo-fighting under the stage while hits like 'Naked in front of the computer','Get out','The gentle art of making enemies' and 'We care a lot' (a very thrilling live version) were played with an incredible power;Patton gave us a little trash bijou singing Aqua's 'Barbie girl' during the piano solo in 'Epic';then followed classics like 'Midlife crisis' and 'Easy',younger (delirious) creations as 'Stripsearch' (seen the video, guys?),'King for a day' (with a noisy hypnotic fade-out),'Last cup of sorrow','Ashes to ashes','Home sick home' and the beautiful 'Just a man':a terrible 'Grazie al cazzo!'(I can't translate it in English but I ensure you it's not the most fiendly thing you can say to an Italian) by Mr.Patton ended that mess...just the time for a encore with 'Collision' (I survived!) and 'Pristina'.
Figa,piscia,merda e vaffanculo a tutti!
